AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to enter into a lease agreement with Kenmore Aero Services, LLC, as tenant, for county-owned land located at the King County International Airport in council district eight.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. The facilities management division determined that the county should award a lease of the county-owned land located at 8535, 8555 and 8600 Perimeter Road South, Seattle, Washington, through a direct negotiation with interested parties without bidding pursuant to K.C.C. 4.56.160.
2. The facilities management division successfully negotiated a lease for the county-owned land with Kenmore Aero Services, LLC.
3. The facilities management division shall give notice of its intent to execute the lease by publishing a notice in a legal newspaper at least once a week for two weeks before execution.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. Contingent upon the execution by Kenmore Aero Services, LLC, and the county of a lease amendment in substantial the same form as Attachment B to this ordinance, the King County council authorizes the executive to execute a lease with Kenmore Aero Services, LLC, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance and authorizes the executive to take all actions necessary to implement the terms of the lease as amended by Attachment B to this ordinance.
