                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  Ordinance 17941, Section 49, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:

                     PUBLIC DEFENSE - From the general fund there is hereby appropriated to:

                     Public defense                     $((109,173,000)) 118,098,000

The maximum number of FTEs for public defense shall be:                     ((343.75)) 365.25
