AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to execute an interlocal agreement between King County and South King Fire & Rescue for provision of fire investigation services.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. South King Fire & Rescue, a fire district in the state of Washington, desires to provide fire investigations services in the city of Federal Way, which is under its jurisdiction.
2. The county has the ability to provide those fire investigations services.
3. Participation in these agreements is to the benefit of the citizens of King County.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The county executive is authorized to execute an agreement,
substantially in the form attached to this ordinance, with South King Fire & Rescue for fire investigations services.
