A MOTION acknowledging receipt of a plan to assess the prosecuting attorney's office's 180 Program, including a description of how the assessment of the program's actual impact on delinquent behaviors will be conducted, what data will be relied upon, and a timetable for the assessment, and an estimate of the cost of the assessment, in compliance with the 2014 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17695, Section 29, Proviso P1, and requesting timely transmittal of the completed assessment to the council.

      WHEREAS, the 2014 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17695, Section 29, Proviso P1, requires the executive to transmit a motion and plan regarding the prosecuting attorney's office's 180 Program by March 1, 2014, and
      WHEREAS, the plan provides a description of how the assessment of the 180 Program's actual impact on delinquent behaviors will be conducted, what data will be relied upon, a timetable for the assessment and an estimate of the cost of the assessment;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      A.  Receipt of the plan to assess the prosecuting attorney's office's 180 Program in compliance with the 2014 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17695, Section 29, Proviso P1, which is Attachment A to this motion, is hereby acknowledged.
      B.  The council requests that the executive complete the assessment and report in accordance with the plan and transmit the completed final, written assessment report
to the council at the same time that the report is provided to the prosecuting attorney and the director of performance, strategy and budget.
