AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to execute interlocal agreements between King County and the cities of Black Diamond, Carnation, Des Moines, Issaquah, Lake Forest Park and Snoqualmie for fire investigations services.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  The cities of Black Diamond, Carnation, Des Moines, Issaquah, Lake Forest Park and Snoqualmie desire to provide fire investigations services in areas under their respective jurisdictions in 2009.
2.  The county has the ability to provide those fire investigations services.
3.  Participation in these agreements is to the benefit of the citizens of King County.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY
      SECTION 1.  The county executive is authorized to execute agreements, substantially in the form attached to this ordinance, with the cities of Black Diamond, Carnation, Des Moines, Issaquah, Lake Forest Park and Snoqualmie for fire investigations services.
