Title

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the execution of a license agreement to support the operation of the department of public health; and declaring an emergency.

Body

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  Findings:

                     A.  For the license agreement from Lifelong Health For All, located at 1161 11th Avenue, Seattle, within council district eight, the facilities management division determined that there was not an appropriate county-owned option and successfully negotiated to license space.

                     B.  It is necessary that this ordinance go into effect immediately in order to avoid the expiration of the agreement on May 1, 2024.

                     SECTION 2.  The executive is authorized to execute a license agreement for the property located at 1161 11th Avenue, Seattle, with Lifelong Health For All, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance, and to take all actions necessary to implement the terms of the license agreement.

                     SECTION 3.  The county council finds as a fact and declares that an emergency exists, and that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of public

peace, health or safety or for the support of county government and its existing public institutions.
