Title
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the superior court to charge a user fee of up to twenty dollars per visit with the superior court adoption paralegal for assistance related to adoptions, as authorized under RCW 26.12.220; and adding a new section to K.C.C. chapter 4.72.
Body
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  A.  Section 2 of this ordinance authorizes the superior court to charge a user fee of up to twenty dollars per visit with the superior court adoption paralegal, for adoption related services.  Retained revenues shall be used to support costs associated with operating family court operations.
      B.  The fee is authorized under RCW 26.12.220.
      NEW SECTION.  SECTION 2.  There is hereby added to K.C.C. chapter 4.72 a new section to read as follows:
      The superior court is hereby authorized to charge a user fee of up to twenty dollars per visit with the superior court adoption paralegal, for adoption related services as authorized under RCW 26.12.220.  Retained revenues shall be used to support costs
associated with operating family court operations.
      SECTION 3.  This ordinance takes effect January 1, 2011.
