A MOTION accepting the executive's response to Motion 12961, a report on strategies for increasing the issuance of pet licenses by King County and creating a sales incentive program for sales partners.

      WHEREAS, King County is striving to support its animal care and control program through revenue generated by pet licenses and other fees and fines and not the general fund, and
      WHEREAS, in accordance with Motion 12961, an important component of this effort is to encourage pet license sales by sales partners, and
      WHEREAS, the executive has analyzed pet license program best practices and a sales incentive program for sales partners, and has considered each element requested in Motion 12961, including gathering input from current pet license sales partners;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      The executive's response to Motion 12961, a report on strategies for increasing
 
the issuance of pet licenses and creating a sales incentive program for sales partners, is hereby accepted.
