Title
A MOTION acknowledging receipt of a final water taxi expansion progress report, in response to the 2021-2022 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19210, Section 113, Proviso P3.

WHEREAS, the 2021-2022 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19210, Section 113, Proviso P3, states that $1,000,000 of the monies appropriated to transit from the public transportation operating fund shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits a preliminary and a final water taxi expansion progress report detailing progress on route planning and motions acknowledging receipt of the preliminary and final reports are passed by the council, and
WHEREAS, the King County executive has transmitted to the council the final water taxi expansion progress report, and
WHEREAS, the report is submitted by the Metro transit department's marine and mobility divisions to fulfill the second of the proviso's reporting obligations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The council acknowledges receipt of the Final Water Taxi Expansion Progress Report, Attachment A to this motion.
