AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to execute a fourth amendment to the interlocal agreement between King County and the city of Bellevue for marine patrol services.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  The city of Bellevue desires to provide marine patrol services in waters under jurisdiction of the city in 2009.  Marine patrol services will be provided on a routine basis from May 15, 2009, through September 15, 2009.  Before and after that time, non-routine services will be available to the city on a call-out basis.
2.  The county has the ability to provide those marine policing and law enforcement services.
3.  Participation in the agreement is to the benefit of the citizens of King County.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY
      SECTION 1.  The county executive is hereby authorized to execute a fourth
 
amendment to the interlocal agreement, substantially in the form attached to this ordinance, between King County and the city of Bellevue for marine patrol services.
