      BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

      In order to fill the vacancy left by former King County Executive and Sound Transit board member Ron Sims, the appointment of Kurt Triplett, King County

executive, to the Sound Transit board of directors, for the remainder of 2009 or until a new King County executive takes office, is hereby confirmed.
