      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The collective bargaining agreement and memorandum of agreement negotiated between King County and International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, Local 17 (Transit Chiefs, Metro Transit Division) representing employees in the department of transportation and attached hereto are hereby approved and adopted by this reference made a part hereof.
 
      SECTION 2.  Terms and conditions of said agreements shall be effective from September 1, 2008, through and including August 31, 2011.
