AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to enter into an agreement between King County and Sound Transit for emphasis policing patrols.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  Sound Transit desires to provide emphasis policing patrols between June 15, 2007, through December 31, 2007, at the Kent Transit Station, and possibly at other Sound Transit facilities in Auburn and Tukwila.
2.  The county has the ability to provide those policing and law enforcement services.
3.  Participation in this agreement is to the benefit of the citizens of King County.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY
      SECTION 1.  The county executive is authorized to execute an agreement, substantially in the form attached to this ordinance, with Sound Transit to provide law
 
enforcement and policing services at the Kent Transit Station and possibly other Sound Transit facilities in Auburn and Tukwila.
