AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to enter into a contract between King County and the King County Housing Authority relating to supplemental law enforcement community policing services in the Ballinger Homes area.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. The King County Housing Authority desires to provide supplemental community policing and law enforcement services for its residents of the Ballinger Homes area.
2. The county has the resources to provide those community policing and law enforcement services.
3. Participation in this agreement is to the mutual benefit of the citizens of King County.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY
SECTION 1. The county executive is authorized to execute an agreement, substantially in the form attached to this ordinance, with the King County Housing Authority to provide law enforcement and community policing services in the Ballinger Homes area.
