AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to enter into an interlocal agreement between King County and the city of Issaquah relating to marine patrol services.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  The city of Issaquah (city) annexed the South Cove area in March of 2006.
2.  The city desires to provide supplemental marine patrol services on the navigable waters under the authority of the city.
3.  The county has the resources to provide such marine patrol services.
4.  Participation in this agreement is to the mutual benefit of the citizens of King County.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  A.  The county executive is authorized to execute an agreement,
 
substantially in the form attached to this ordinance, with the city of Issaquah to provide marine patrol services.
