A MOTION authorizing King County department of adult and juvenile detention to accept a donation for the juvenile welfare fund from Compass Group, USA Division (Canteen Vending Company); the value of this donation is two thousand dollars.

      WHEREAS, Compass Group, USA Division (Canteen Vending Company) wishes to donate funds to benefit youth at the juvenile detention facility; and

      WHEREAS, the department of adult and juvenile detention would like to accept the donation of two thousand dollars for purposes of providing non-mandatory purchases to benefit youth;

      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

      The department of adult and juvenile detention is authorized to accept the

donation of two thousand dollars from the Compass Group, USA Division (Canteen Vending Company).
