A MOTION authorizing King County department of adult and juvenile detention to accept a donation for the juvenile welfare fund from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians; the value of this donation is one thousand five hundred dollars.

      WHEREAS, Puyallup Tribe of Indians wishes to donate funds to benefit youth at the juvenile detention facility; and

      WHEREAS, the department of adult and juvenile detention would like to accept the donation of one thousand five hundred dollars for purposes of providing non-mandatory purchases to benefit youth;

      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

      The department of adult and juvenile detention is authorized to accept the donation of one thousand five hundred dollars from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians.
