Title
AN ORDINANCE relating to the withdrawal of territory of an area known as NE Union Hill Road at 244th from the Sammamish plateau water and sewer district.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  A notice of intention proposing the withdrawal of territory of an area known as NE Union Hill Road at 244th from the Sammamish plateau water and sewer district was filed with the county council on March 29, 2006.
2.  The Sammamish plateau water and sewer district has found the petition for withdrawal of territory to be sufficient and has by Resolution No. 3447 concurred with the proposed withdrawal of territory.
3.  The Sammamish plateau water and sewer district filed a determination of nonsignificance, dated September 2005, on the proposed withdrawal of territory.
4.  The utilities technical review committee recommended county council approval of the proposed annexation.
5.  The county council held the legally required public hearing and has considered the criteria in RCW 57.02.040.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The withdrawal of territory of Sammamish plateau water and sewer district of the area known as and NE Union Hill Road at 244th described in Attachment A to this ordinance is approved.   This proposed withdrawal of territory is consistent with RCW 56.02.060.
      SECTION 2.  Completion of this withdrawal of territory does not constitute
 
county approval or disapproval of any other permits, franchises, certifications or actions necessary to provide service to this withdrawal of territory area.
