A MOTION authorizing King County department of community and human services to accept, on behalf of the Work Training Program, WorkSource Renton in King County, a donation of software from the Microsoft Corporation for the purpose of a pilot project.

      WHEREAS, there is a need to test the relevance and effectiveness of Microsoft's Unlimited Potential curriculum in a WorkSource environment, and
      WHEREAS, the Microsoft Corporation desires to make a donation through Microsoft Licensing of Microsoft Windows XP Professional Upgrade Select License and Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Select License, and
      WHEREAS, Microsoft has selected King County Work Training Program, WorkSource Renton to receive this donation;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      The department of community and human services, on behalf of the Work Training Program, WorkSource Renton, is hereby authorized to accept a donation of software, valued at twenty-six thousand two hundred ninety eight dollars, to be used by Work Training Program, WorkSource Renton, to assist Microsoft in an Unlimited Potential pilot project.
