Title

A MOTION relating to the King County Flood Control Zone District's personnel, adopting Staffing and Personnel Policies.

Body

                     WHEREAS, the King County Flood Control Zone District (" the District"), acting through its Executive Committee pursuant to authority delegated by the Board of Supervisors through the District's Rules and Operating Procedures at Section 4, previously adopted policies to govern the District's employees, and

                     WHEREAS, the District seeks to add to its policies by adopting the updated King County Legislative Branch Employee, Equipment and Facilities Policies, including the policies and procedures for employee performance evaluations; and

                     WHEREAS, the District seeks to make these efficient updates to existing policy in order to better match the goals of employee health and safety set by the Legislative Branch;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:

                     SECTION 1.  The King County Flood Control Zone District Executive Committee adopts the Legislative Branch Employee, Equipment, and Facilities Policies, including the performance evaluation procedures, attached to this motion as Attachment A.

                     SECTION 2.  The King County Flood Control Zone District Executive

Committee adopts the Employee Code of Conduct attached to this motion as Attachment B.
