Title

AN ORDINANCE relating to fees charged by the department of judicial administration; and amending Ordinance 16297, Section 3, as amended, and K.C.C. 4A.630.190.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  Ordinance 16297, Section 3, as amended, and K.C.C. 4A.630.190 are hereby amended to read as follows:

                     The department of judicial administration is hereby authorized to assess and collect a fee for preparing and providing copies of documents to the court.  ((This)) The fee only applies when documents have been electronically submitted to the clerk by parties who wish to have copies provided to the respective judicial officer.  The fee

 

assessed shall be ((twenty)) thirty dollars per submission.

                     SECTION 2.  This ordinance takes effect January 1, 2021.
