Title

A MOTION acknowledging receipt of the King County-funded civil legal aid services report as required by the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 62, Proviso P1.

Body

                     WHEREAS, the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 62, Proviso P1, states that two hundred fifty thousand dollars shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits a report on county-funded civil legal aid services and a motion that acknowledges receipt of the report and the motion is passed by the council, and

                     WHEREAS, the adult services division of the department of community and human services has produced the attached report on King County-funded civil legal aid services, and

                     WHEREAS, the executive has transmitted to the council the requested report and motion acknowledging the report;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The receipt of the King County-funded civil legal aid services report, submitted as

 

Attachment A to this motion in accordance with Ordinance 18835, Section 62, Proviso P1, is hereby acknowledged.
