TITLE
A MOTION authorizing the chair to enter into an agreement for 2018-2019 Flood Preparedness Brochure graphic design and project management services.
BODY
WHEREAS, The King County Flood Control Zone District ("District") conducts an annual public outreach campaign throughout the flood season to raise awareness about resources available and best practices for reducing risks associated with flooding with a goal of minimizing property damage and protecting public safety; and
WHEREAS, the District's Flood Preparedness Brochure, mailed to approximately 18,000 residents living within or near floodplains in King County, is an integral part of the annual public outreach campaign; and
WHEREAS, the District desires enter into an agreement for project manager services for the 2018-2019 Flood Preparedness Brochure with Cocker Fennessy, INC.; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:
SECTION 1. The chair of the King County Flood Control Zone District is
authorized to enter into the "2018 Agreement for Flood Preparedness Brochure Graphic Design and Project Management," Attachment A to this motion.
