BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of this ordinance authorizes the department of judicial administration to assess and collect a fee for preparing and providing data reports of requested publicly accessible superior court records.
SECTION 2. Ordinance 16968, Section 3, as amended, and K.C.C. 4A.630.200 are each hereby amended to read as follows:
The department of judicial administration is hereby authorized to assess and collect a fee for preparing and providing a report of new cases filed in superior court or new judgments filed in superior court. The fee shall be five dollars per report. The department of judicial administration may assess and collect a fee for evaluation, research
or programing of fifty-five dollars per hour, and an administration fee of fifty dollars per report, for data dissemination requests of publicly accessible superior court records data.
