Title
A MOTION confirming the reappointment of Sven Kalve to the citizens' elections oversight committee as the representative of the Municipal League of King County.
Body
WHEREAS, Mr. Kalve has proven himself to be a productive and knowledgeable member of the citizens' elections oversight committee, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Kalve represents a key constituency in the electoral process,
WHEREAS, King County is committed to conducting open, accurate and fair elections and to involving major political parties in oversight of elections, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with KCC 2.53.021, the Employment and Administration Committee of the King County Council reappointed Mr. Kalve on June 29, 2015;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The reappointment of Sven Kalve to serve on the citizens' elections oversight
committee as a representative of the Municipal League of King County for a three-year term ending June 22, 2018 is hereby confirmed.
