A MOTION reappointing Sharon Armstrong to the King County public defense advisory board, representing the King County Bar Association.
Body
      WHEREAS, Sharon Armstrong was appointed by the county executive to an initial one-year term on the King County public defense advisory board, representing the King County Bar Association, and her appointment was confirmed by the county council on July 14, 2014, by Motion 14175, and
      WHEREAS, K.C.C. 2.60.031.E. provides in part that the county council may reappoint board members for additional three-year terms, and
      WHEREAS, the King County Bar Association has expressed its support for Sharon Armstrong to continue to represent the association on the public defense advisory board and for the county council to reappoint her to a full three-year term, and Sharon Armstrong has expressed her willingness to serve an additional, three-year term on the board;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      Sharon Armstrong is hereby reappointed to the King County public defense
advisory board, representing the King County Bar Association, to a three-year term to expire on June 30, 2018.
