Title
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to execute an interlocal agreement with the city of Bellevue to provide road-related services on an as-requested basis.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. The city of Bellevue has the legal responsibility to repair and maintain the public roads and traffic devices within its service area, including the inspections of all of its bridges.
2. The city of Bellevue requests that the King County road services division provide road-related services on an as-requested basis.
3. The King County road services division is willing and able to perform such services for the city of Bellevue.
4. The parties can achieve cost savings and benefits that are in the public's interest by having the King County road services division provide such services that the city of Bellevue requests, at the city of Bellevue's expense.
5. Chapter 39.34 RCW authorizes King County and the city of Bellevue to enter into an interlocal cooperation agreement such as Attachment A to this ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The authorization of the King County executive to execute an interlocal agreement with the city of Bellevue, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance, is hereby approved.
