Title
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to enter into and execute an amendment to the interlocal agreement with the city of Lake Forest Park for the disbursement of conservation futures tax levy funds, for the Chu property project allocated under Ordinance 15555.
Body
      STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  Conservation futures tax levy funds are collected throughout King County as a dedicated portion of the property tax and are, by statute, available only for the acquisition of open space and resource lands.
2.  By Ordinance 15555, the King County council has appropriated conservation futures funds to the city of Lake Forest Park Chu property project, described in Attachment A to this ordinance.
3.  The county desires to disburse conservation futures funds to the city of Lake Forest Park and must do so by amending the executing interlocal agreements with the city.
4.  The county and the cities are authorized to enter into an interlocal agreement pursuant to chapter 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
