A MOTION confirming the executive's appointment of James R. Vollendroff as King County alcohol and drug coordinator.

WHEREAS, in accordance with the state Treatment for Alcoholism, Intoxication and Drug Addiction RCW chapter, RCW 70.96A.310 (2) states "The county alcoholism and other drug addiction program coordinator shall be appointed by the county legislative authority from nominations by the alcoholism and other drug addiction program board," and
WHEREAS, the county coordinator, in consultation with the county alcoholism and other drug addiction board, shall provide general supervision over the alcoholism and other drug addiction program; prepare plans and applications for funds to support the program in consultation with the King County alcoholism and substance abuse administrative board, monitor the delivery of services and provide staff support to the board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The county executive's appointment of James R. Vollendroff as King County alcohol and drug coordinator is hereby confirmed.
