Title

A RESOLUTION identifying Victor Loo for reappointment as the King County Board of Health's selected nonelected member candidate representing community stakeholders for a three-year term to expire on December 31, 2028.

Body

                     WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 70.05.035, BOH 2.04.020, and K.C.C. chapter 2.35, the King County Board of Health shall have an equal number of elected to nonelected members, with nonelected members described in RCW 70.05.035(1)(a) selected by the King County Board of Health from three specific categories of interests:  public health, health care facilities, and providers; consumers of public health; and other community stakeholders;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Health of King

County:

                     A.  The Board of Health recommends Victor Loo for reappointment as the King County Board of Health's selected nonelected member candidate representing community stakeholders, for a three-year term to expire on December 31, 2028.

                     B.  The candidate was selected by the board in accordance with chapter 246-90 WAC pertaining to Local Board of Health Membership and the candidate meets the qualifications and requirements of RCW 70.05.035(1)(a).

                     C.  In accordance with K.C.C. 2.35.024, the board will transmit to the King County council this resolution along with the requisite materials for consideration and confirmation.
