      WHEREAS, King County executive Ron Sims has appointed the Honorable Julia Patterson, a King County councilmember, to the Sound Transit Board;

      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

      The King County executive's appointment of the Honorable Julia Patterson, King County councilmember, for a four-year term to the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit

Authority, term to expire in December 2005 pursuant to chapter 81.112 RCW, is hereby confirmed.
