Title

A MOTION confirming the King County board of health's reappointment of Quiana Daniels to serve as a representative of consumers of public health for a three-year term to expire on December 31, 2028.

Body

                     WHEREAS, in 2021, RCW 70.05.035 was amended to require an equal number of elected to nonelected members on local boards of health, with nonelected members described in RCW 70.05.035(1)(a) selected by the King County board of health from three specific categories of interests:  public health, health care facilities, and providers; consumers of public health; and community stakeholders, and

                     WHEREAS, in accordance with K.C.C. 2.35.024, the board adopted Resolution 25-05, dated October 16, 2025, and subsequently transmitted the requisite materials to the King County council;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The King County board of health's reappointment of Quiana Daniels, to serve as a

representative of consumers of public health, for a three-year term to expire on December 31, 2028, is hereby confirmed.
