Title
A MOTION granting additional time for regional transit committee review of legislation adopting the 2002-2007 Six-Year Transit Development Plan.
Body
      WHEREAS, K.C.C. 1.24.065E. establishes a one-hundred-twenty-day review period for legislation referred to a regional committee, and
      WHEREAS, Proposed Ordinance 2002-0074, adopting the 2002-2007 Six-Year Transit Development Plan, was introduced on February 10, 2002, and referred to the regional transit committee, establishing a June 10, 2002, end date for committee review, and
      WHEREAS, the regional transit committee has devoted the entirety of seven meetings to the proposed six-year plan since its referral, and
      WHEREAS, the committee plans to hold four additional meetings and adopt a recommended plan for council review by the end of July 2002;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      The regional transit committee is granted an additional sixty days to complete its review of Proposed Ordinance 2002-0074.
