Title
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the executive to enter into an interlocal agreement with the city of Seattle for the placement of ballot drop boxes.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  Ordinance 15523 requires the approval by motion of a plan for locating regional voting centers and ballot drop boxes.
2.  The plan for regional voting centers and ballot drop boxes includes the placement of ballot drop boxes at certain city of Seattle neighborhood service centers.
3.  In order to place ballot drop boxes at neighborhood service centers, the city of Seattle requires an interlocal agreement with King County.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The executive is hereby authorized to enter into an interlocal
 
agreement with the city of Seattle for the placement of ballot drop boxes in substantially the form of Attachment A to this ordinance.
