AN ORDINANCE relating to the annexation of an area known as the "Ronald Annexation Area" into the Ronald wastewater district for the purpose of providing wastewater services.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. On September 27, 2007, the Ronald wastewater district filed a copy of Resolution 07-27, initiating the process of annexation and calling for the question of annexation of the "Ronald Annexation Area" to be submitted to the voters.
2. Ronald wastewater district Resolution 07-27 sets forth the legal description of the proposed "Ronald Annexation Area District," which is Attachment A to this ordinance.
3. The utilities technical review committee recommended county council approval of the proposed annexation.
4. The county council held the public hearing required by RCW 57.02.040 and has considered the criteria of that statute.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The annexation of the "Ronald Annexation Area" to the Ronald wastewater district is consistent with RCW 57.02.040.
SECTION 2. Enactment of this ordinance does not constitute county approval or disapproval of the annexation or the entry of findings under RCW 57.24.240, which will be the subject of a separate hearing.
SECTION 3. Enactment of this ordinance does not constitute county approval or disapproval of any other permits, certifications or actions necessary to provide service to this annexation area.
SECTION 4. Upon enactment of this ordinance, the clerk is directed to forward
this ordinance to the boundary review board in accordance with RCW 57.02.045 and chapter 36.93 RCW.
