A MOTION acknowledging receipt of the organics system mapping and policy report as required by the 2025 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19861, Section 109, Proviso P2.

WHEREAS, the 2025 Annual Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19861, Section 109, Proviso P2, the King County council adopted and the executive approved a proviso encumbering $500,000 from the solid waste operating fund and requiring an organics system mapping and policy report and a motion acknowledging receipt of said report, and
WHEREAS, the executive has transmitted to the council the requested report entitled Organics System Mapping and Policy Report along with a motion acknowledging the receipt thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The King County council hereby acknowledges receipt of the Organics System
Mapping and Policy Report, Attachment A to this motion, as required by Ordinance 19861, Section 109, Proviso P2.
