AN ORDINANCE authorizing the county executive to enter into an omnibus agreement for the purpose of inter-county mutual aid during times of emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The county executive is hereby authorized to execute an omnibus inter-county mutual aid agreement in substantially the form attached to this ordinance, for the purposes of extending mutual aid between King, Whatcom, Kitsap, Pend Oreille and Clark counties in the event of an emergency. Mutual aid resources may include
personnel, equipment, materials or other support, enabling counties to take advantage of their proximity to each other to provide emergency assistance.
