A MOTION acknowledging receipt of the facility closure notification plan as required by the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 110, Proviso P1.

WHEREAS, in the 2026-2027 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 20023, Section 110, Proviso P1, the King County council adopted and the executive approved a proviso encumbering $200,000 from the solid waste operating fund and requiring a facility closure notification plan and a motion acknowledging receipt of the facility closure notification plan, and
WHEREAS, the executive has transmitted to the council the requested plan entitled Facility Closure Notification Plan along with a motion acknowledging the receipt thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The King County council hereby acknowledges receipt of the Facility Closure
Notification Plan, Attachment A to this motion, as required by Ordinance 20023, Section 110, Proviso P1.
