Title

A MOTION appointing the American Indian health commission for Washington state's alternate member to serve on the King County board of health for a three-year term to expire on December 31, 2027.

Body

                     WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 70.05.035, BOH 2.04.020, and K.C.C. chapter 2.35, the King County board of health shall include a tribal representative selected by the American Indian health commission for Washington state, and

                     WHEREAS, the Snoqualmie Tribal Council approved Resolution #249-2024, approving the appointment of tribal representatives to serve on the King County board of health for three-year terms, and

                     WHEREAS, the King County board of health received the American Indian Health commission for Washington state's selections for regular and alternate members to serve three-year terms to expire on December 31, 2027;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The appointment of Angela Young, to serve as the alternate member selected by

the American Indian Health Commission for Washington state, for a three-year term to expire on December 31, 2027, is hereby confirmed.
