A MOTION confirming the executive's appointment of Mary Robinson, who resides in |

council district six, to the King County emergency management advisory committee, |
|
representing electric/gas utilities. |
|
Joanne Rasmussen, Council Staff, briefed the committee. Eric Holdeman, Manager, Office of |
|
Emergency Management, and Mary Robinson, appointee to the Emergency Management Advisory |
|
Committee, answered questions from the members. |
|
A motion was made by Ms. Patterson that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Consent. The |
|
motion carried by the following vote: |
|

|
Peggy Dorothy, Council Staff, briefed the committee on Agenda Items #3 and #4 together. Dave |
|
Clark, Section Manager, Flood Hazard Reduction Services, discussed the work with Flood Plain |
|
mapping and answered questions from the members. Bill Eckel, Regional Water Resource |
|
Supervisor, Water and Land Resources, discussed the work of those he supervises in the areas of |
|
community outreach and grants, hazardous waste, and watershed stewards, and answered questions |
|
from the members. |

AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the collective bargaining agreement negotiated |
|
by and between King County and International Federation of Professional and Technical |
|
Engineers, Local 17 (Supervisors) representing employees in the departments of |
|
transportation and natural resources and parks. |
|
A motion was made by Ms. Patterson that this matter be Recommended Do Pass. The motion |
|
carried by the following vote: |

transportation, natural resources and parks and development and environmental services. |

representing Dental Hygienist and Dental Assistant employees in the department of public |

health; and establishing the effective date of said agreement. |

|
members. |
