Approval of Minutes  
Vice Chair Barón moved approval of the April 23, 2024 meeting minutes. There being  
no objections, the minutes were approved.

A MOTION approving the Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Inclusion Strategy Update Report from  
the King County Executive in relation to the King County gender identity and sexual orientation inclusion  
task force.  
Gene Paul, Council staff, briefed the committee and answered questions from the  
members. Lily Clifton, Government Relations Assistant, King County Executive's  
Office, also briefed the committee. Kelli Carroll, Director of Special Projects, King  
County Executive's Office, also answered questions from the members.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Dembowski that this Motion be  
Recommended Do Pass Consent. The motion carried by the following vote:

AN ORDINANCE relating to personal and demographic information obtained, maintained, and shared by  
county agents and employees; and amending Ordinance 16692, Section 2, as amended, and K.C.C.  
2.15.010.  
Nick Bowman, Council staff, briefed the committee and answered questions from the  
members. Councilmember Dembowski moved approval of Amendment 1. The  
amendment passed.  
Councilmembers Barón, Balducci, and Perry requested to be added as sponsors for  
this legislation.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Dembowski that this Ordinance be  
Recommended Do Pass Substitute Consent. The motion carried by the  
following vote:
