Call to Order
The meeting of the Transportation Committee was called to order at 1:35 P.M. by Chair Pelz.

Present: Mr. Pelz, Mr. Irons and Mr. Ferguson
Excused: Mr. McKenna, Mr. Gossett, Ms. Patterson and Ms. Hague

 
1. Approval of Minutes
The minutes of September 22, 2004 meeting were adopted as written.

 
Discussion and Possible Action

 
Proposed Ordinance No. 2004-0555

AN ORDINANCE approving the county executive to execute an interlocal agreement with
the city of Snoqualmie for the purpose of designing and constructing improvements to the
Meadowbrook bridge.
Doug Hodson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Ordinance 2004-0555. This matter
passed out of committee subject to signatures.
 
A motion was made that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Consent. The motion carried by
the following vote:
Votes: Yes: 4 - Mr. Pelz, Mr. Gossett, Mr. Irons and Mr. Ferguson
No: 0
Excused: 3 - Mr. McKenna, Ms. Patterson and Ms. Hague

 
Proposed Ordinance No. 2004-0556

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to execute an interlocal agreement
with the city of Kirkland regarding the operation of city-owned traffic signals and related
intelligent transportation system equipment by the King County road services division.
Paul Carlson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Ordinance 2004-0556. This matter
passed out of committee subject to signatures.
 
A motion was made by Mr. Ferguson that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Consent. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Votes: Yes: 4 - Mr. Pelz, Mr. Gossett, Mr. Irons and Mr. Ferguson
No: 0
Excused: 3 - Mr. McKenna, Ms. Patterson and Ms. Hague
