Mr. Irons reported on the Unincorporated Area Council's Annual Joint Forum held at Lakeridge

Elementary School in South Seattle. The Area Councils included Four Creeks, Greater Maple
Valley, North Highline, Bear Creek Community Council, Vashon Maury Island and West Hill
Community Council. Executive Sims gave an overview of King County issues. Steve Call, Budget
Director, Budget Office, was also present.

generating flights and non-revenue generating flights not based at B.F.I.; amending

Mr. Phillips noted the departure of Rob McKenna to become Attorney General for the State of
Washington. He thanked Councilmember McKenna for his contribution to the Council for the past
eight years. Mr. McKenna thanked the Council and gave particular thanks to council staff, his
personal staff and the Executive Office. Other members also made comments.
