The meeting of the Transportation Committee was called to order at 1:44 p.m. by Chair Pelz.

A MOTION confirming the executive's appointment of Joan Sells, who resides in council |

district eight, to the King County transit advisory committee. |
|
Doug Hodson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Motion 2005-0231. Joan Sells, |
|
appointee to the King County transit advisory committee was present to brief and answer questions |
|
from the members. |
|
A motion was made by Mr. Irons that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Consent. The |
|
motion carried by the following vote: |
|
Yes: 5 - Mr. Pelz, Mr. Irons, Mr. Ferguson, Ms. Hague and Mr. Dunn |

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the executive to enter into an interlocal agreement to provide |

$1,572,000 in local funding to the city of Seattle in exchange for $1,654,737 in Federal |

Transit Administration funding. |
