Approval of Minutes

The minutes of the April 26, 2005 meeting were held.
Discussion and Possible Action
Clifton Curry, Council Staff, briefed the committee on Proposed Ordinances 2005-0187 and |
2005-0188 together. Jim Johnson, Labor Negotiator, Human Resources Division, answered |
questions from Councilmember Hague. |

Proposed Ordinance No. 2005-0187
Ms. Hague and Mr. Phillips
AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the memorandum of agreement negotiated by |
and between King County and Washington State Nurses Association representing staff |
nurses in the department of adult and juvenile detention and establishing the effective date |
of said agreement. |
Proposed Ordinance 2005-0187 was recommended "do pass" subject to signature.
A motion was made by Ms. Hague that this matter be Recommended Do Pass. The motion |
carried by the following vote: |
Yes: 3 - Ms. Hague, Mr. Constantine and Mr. Irons |
Excused: 2 - Ms. Patterson and Mr. Pelz |

Proposed Ordinance No. 2005-0188
Ms. Hague and Mr. Phillips
AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the collective bargaining agreement negotiated |
by and between King County and Washington State Nurses Association (Supervisors and |
Managers) representing employees in the department of public health; and establishing the |
effective date of said agreement. |
Proposed Ordinance 2005-0188 was recommended "do pass" subject to signature.
A motion was made by Ms. Hague that this matter be Recommended Do Pass. The motion |
carried by the following vote: |

Proposed Ordinance No. 2005-0206

AN ORDINANCE adopting the revision of the voting precincts of King County for the year |
2005. |
Mike Alvine, Council Staff, briefed the committee. Harry Sanders, GIS Supervisor, Records, |
Elections and Licensing Services, answered questions from Councilmember Hague. |
A motion was made by Ms. Hague that this matter be Recommended Do Pass. The motion |
carried by the following vote: |
