The Budget and Fiscal Management Committee meeting was called to order by Chair Larry Gossett 
at 9:37 a.m.

The Minutes of March 23, 2005 were approved as presented.

Proposed Ordinance No. 2005-0056

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the sale of one parcel of surplus county-owned real property 
located in council district 13.
Doug Hodson, David Layton and Polly St. John, Council Staff, briefed the committee and answered 
questions on Proposed Ordinance 2005-0056.
 
Also present to brief the committee and answer questions were Ron Posthuma, Assistant Director, 
Department of Transportation; Kathy Brown, Director, Facilities Management Division, Department 
of Executive Services; Nathan Torgelson, Economic Development Manager, City of Kent; Judge 
Corinna Harn, Presiding Judge, District Court; Dan Satterberg, Prosecuting Attorney's Office and 
Rebecha Cusack, Council Staff.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the sale of one parcel of tax title property located in council 
district 9.
Polly St. John, Council Staff, briefed the committee and answered questions on Proposed Ordinance 
2005-0105.
A motion was made by Mr. Irons that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Consent.  The 
motion carried by the following vote:

Proposed Ordinance No. 2005-0106
Ms. Hague, Mr. Gossett and Mr. Phillips
AN ORDINANCE making a supplemental appropriation of $136,759 from the current 
expense fund to the prosecuting attorney; implementing the International Brotherhood of 
Teamsters Local 117 (Prosecuting Attorney's Office) collective bargaining agreement for 
the fiscal year ending December 31, 2007; amending the 2005 Budget Ordinance, 
Ordinance 15083, Sections 26 and 34, as amended.
Polly St. John, Council Staff, briefed the committee and answered questions on Proposed Ordinance 
2005-0106.
A motion was made by Mr. Irons that this matter be Recommended Do Pass.  The motion 
carried by the following vote:
