AN ORDINANCE increasing the hourly and monthly rental rates for aircraft tie-downs at the King County international airport, also known as Boeing Field International, and increasing the landing fee paid by Boeing Field International based aircraft operators of revenue generating flights, as well as for all incoming flights utilizing Boeing Field International but not based at Boeing Field International; and amending Ordinance 10500, Section 1, as amended, and K.C.C. 15.52.060 and Ordinance 1159, Art. XVI Section 2, as amended, and K.C.C. 15.64.020.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. A. Section 2 of this ordinance increases the monthly rental rate for aircraft tie-downs, as provided in K.C.C. 15.52.060.
B. These fees are authorized by K.C.C. chapter 15.52.
SECTION 2. Ordinance 10500, Section 1, as amended, and K.C.C. 15.52.060 are each hereby amended to read as follows:
The following tie-down rates will be charged for storage of aircraft on county property (Note: Gross weight shall be that weight for the aircraft as published in leading aviation journals):

SECTION 3. A. Section 4 of this ordinance increases the landing fees paid by aircraft operators of revenue generating flights and non-revenue generating flights not based at B.F.I.
B. These fees are authorized by K.C.C. 15.64.020.
SECTION 4. Ordinance 1159, Art. XVI Section 2, as amended, and K.C.C. 15.64.020 are each hereby amended to read as follows:
Aircraft operating in accordance with this chapter are subject to a landing fee of ((seventy-five)) one dollar and twenty-five cents per thousand pounds of the aircraft's gross landing weight as published in leading aviation journals, computed to the nearest five cents, with a minimum of two dollars and fifty cents per landing plus outside storage charge on
all aircraft parked on county property in accordance with K.C.C. 15.52.060.
SECTION 5. This ordinance takes effect January 1, 2008.
