A MOTION appointing the King County prosecuting attorney.
Body
WHEREAS, on May 29, 2007, the King County council appointed the acting King County prosecuting attorney pending appointment of the King County prosecuting attorney, and
WHEREAS, the King County Republican central committee has forwarded the names of three nominees for appointment as the King County prosecuting attorney to serve until the election of a prosecuting attorney in November 2007, and
WHEREAS the council interviewed the candidates on July 9, 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
Dan Satterberg is hereby appointed King County prosecuting attorney.
