A MOTION relating to the noxious weed control program; acknowledging receipt of the Integrated Pest Management Status Report as required by the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 80, Proviso P1.

                     WHEREAS, the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 80, Proviso P1, states that two hundred thousand dollars shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits a status report and a motion accepting the report is passed by council, and

                     WHEREAS, the water and land resources division of the department of natural resources and parks has produced the attached status report, and

                     WHEREAS, the executive has transmitted to the council the requested status report and motion;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The receipt of the status report on the county's integrated pest management

program, submitted as Attachment A to this motion in accordance with Ordinance 18835, Section 80, Proviso P1, is hereby acknowledged.
