A MOTION acknowledging receipt of a plan for a pilot project that would provide indigent inmates with funds to make phone calls, use video visitation, or make commissary purchases in compliance with the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 52, Proviso P4.

                     WHEREAS, the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 52, Proviso P4, requires the executive to transmit a plan for a pilot project that would provide indigent inmates with funds to make phone calls, use video visitation, or make commissary purchases, and a motion acknowledging receipt of the report, and

                     WHEREAS, Ordinance 18835, Section 52, Proviso P4, provides that $250,000 shall not be expended or encumbered until the receipt of the plan, and a motion acknowledging receipt of the plan is passed,

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
